A400M Maintenance Hangar

In response to the strategic needs of the army, PROBE proudly undertook the structural design of ambitious A400M FASBAT Aircraft Maintenance Facilities project in Kayseri, Turkey, which is completed within an impressive timeframe of 14 months. This critical facility serves as the first of its kind where two A400M-sized aircraft can undergo simultaneous maintenance and renewal. The retrofit operations conducted here are pivotal, as they are exclusive to only four centers globally for the A400M, a state-of-the-art military transport aircraft.

The project covers 10,000 square meters and includes administrative offices along with a high-tech aircraft hangar standing at 24 meters tall. It adheres to the highest technical standards to fulfill the technical infrastructure requirements and ensure the protection of the A400M aircraft undergoing maintenance. Our role encompassed the comprehensive design and analysis of the steel structure, contributing to the successful realization of this project for our esteemed client, Dorce Prefabricated & Construction. As the designated engineering and superstructure works provider, we diligently executed testing and commissioning activities to ensure the facility’s functionality and adherence to the highest standards.
