Steel Construction Project

Baku Shipyard LLC is a joint venture between the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR), Azerbaijan Investment Company (AIC), and Keppel Corporation. This remarkable shipyard plant, the largest one in the countries bordering the Caspian Sea, is a groundbreaking international cooperation in maritime infrastructure.

The shipyard boasts a formidable production capacity of 25 thousand tons of metal constructions annually, contributing significantly to the region’s maritime capabilities. Spanning an expansive area of 620 thousand square meters, the facility is equipped with semi-station buildings dedicated to ensuring a robust electrical supply for seamless operations.

The comprehensive infrastructure of Baku Shipyard includes a 1,630-meter-long bridge, a five-story administrative building, a training center, various offices, warehouses, production workshops, repair facilities, dining rooms, and a medical center. This multifaceted approach underscores the facility’s commitment to efficiency, safety, and employee welfare.

As a key contributor to this ambitious project, we provided static projects for both reinforced concrete and steel structures. The intricacies of structural engineering were meticulously addressed to ensure the resilience and longevity of the shipyard’s diverse facilities.

Baku Shipyard LLC not only marks a significant achievement in maritime engineering but also symbolizes the harmonious collaboration between international entities for the advancement of Azerbaijan’s maritime capabilities. As a participant in the project’s success, our dedication to providing robust structural solutions has played a vital role in shaping the future of maritime infrastructure in the region.
